Giant big rig truck racing, yeehaaa! Or for those of us professionals in the know like to call it, FIA ETRC 2019. Imagine cautiously driving your paperweight formula 1 car to its limits over on Brands Hatch. Sequentially dropping gears, delicately applying the throttle to pull out of the hair pin while releasing the break. Careful as you do it. Precision driving is your only way to get onto that podium.
This game is not that. I mean it probably expects us to think of it like that, but its not, is it. Its more like, here I come in a giant 5 tonne truck with my foot full on the gas and my hand pulling hard on the airhorn rope. SMASH. There goes half the spectators stand. BOOM! Another truck bursts into flames as I ride it into the sidewalls. Ok I dont think it will be quite like that either but we can only hope and will find out when it releases on July 18th. Lets take a look at the Truck Racing Championship 2019 system requirements.
EU Truck Racing Championship Minimum System Requirements
OS: Windows 7 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i3-540 or AMD Phenom II X4 940 RAM: 4 GB System Memory GPU RAM: 2 GB Video Memory GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 5870 2GB DX: DirectX 11 HD: 12 GB available space
EU Truck Racing Championship Recommended System Requirements
OS: Windows 10 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i5-4570 or AMD FX-8350 RAM: 8 GB System Memory GPU RAM: 4 GB Video Memory GPU: Nvidia GTX 960 4GB or AMD Radeon R9 280X 3GB DX: DirectX 11 HD: 12 GB available space
Ok so it looks like a fairly standard four year old Rig can get this up and running at 1080p on High graphics settings. It requires a Radeon R9 280X GPU coupled with the Core i5-4570 3.2GHz or FX-8350 processor to firm up the recommended specs and achieve around 60 FPS on high settings at 1080p. If you want to run it on low you will need a Radeon HD 5870 2048MB graphics card married to a Core i3-540 3.06GHz or Phenom II X4 940 CPU for the min specs. We see this achieving 30FPS on 1080p monitor res. The min RAM needed is 4 GB of system memory. Keep an eye on your card if it is not capable of DirectX 11 or FIA European Truck Racing Championship won’t run.
Ok lets take a look at a video of the gameplay.
We expect the Truck Racing Championship 2019 racing game to release for around $29/£25/€25
